It is about time to start thread about dry weather we've been having in English section too... Right now, Laguja is having cold nights and warm days. Temperatures range from -2...-4 at night to +13...15 degrees at day. There is high threat for wildfires in Estonia and people are prohibited for burning grass.

EMHI has issued a warning for whole Estonia:
Due to continuing of warm and dry weather, wildfire threat in the nature has become very high. Campfire may easily go out of control and cause grass to catch on fire. According to preliminary forecast, dry weather may last until the end of the month.

Yeah, the weather is really enjoyable.

Here in Tõrva the temperatures have reached +20 almost every day. Nights are still quite cold. It's usually around zero or little below it.

Sadly not everybody in the forum have enjoyed it. In Estonian section of the thread, a flame war broke out.

It has been warm. Maximum temperatures have reached mid-10's Celsius. But now, this warmness is expected to end. Sleet is forecasted for Tuesday :(

However, rain would be welcome, highest level fire threat in southern Estonia may be imminent and if it indeed comes, then parishes will probably start closing down the forests

Didn't maximum temperatures reach low-20's at one point? :?:

I find it quite funny. April, May and even March were warmer than July (or at least much-much drier). This year July really was considerably colder than on an average year. Days with temperatures reaching only +15 are not normal. :?

Lets hope August turns out to be a lot warmer, because there really wasn't much to enjoy in either June or July. Here's to hot weather...Image

Not if EMHI's prediction will be true. They forecast normal August (temperature) , with a great deal of rain.
