When does snow return to Estonia??!

Post by Tarmo Tanilsoo »

Well, it has been very warm weather recently and there has been no snow for a while. Any ideas? When will the snow return?

http://www.arl.noaa.gov/ready/cmet.html - this model shows that we shouldn't expect snow at least not before 6-7 December

It's funny how we didn't get any snow before the end of January. And it started melting even before March.

Yep, I hardly remember such winter like the one what just ended. I would say global warming, but as I learned on World Meteorological Day's conference in EMHI yesterday, it has been warmer millions of years ago and this warming could be temporary as well... Well, let's see.

Global warming. I hate to say it, but I kind of like it. Of course it's bad for the nature, but I am ready to take everything just to have a warm winter.

As long as Gulf Stream doesn't stop, I am just OK :)
